The One Stop Centers in our area offer a vast array of job seeker
services all in one single location. Some of the services are:
Job listings of current jobs available locally as well as nationwide
are provided. Employers list their jobs with the Centers in an effort
to fill their workforce needs.
Skills assessment is provided to evaluate interests, skills, and
abilities, which will enable the job seeker to find the perfect job
match and/or training course.
Each Center provides a fully staffed customer resource room which can
serve as the customer’s personal office. We provide resume preparation
assistance, faxing service, copiers, and personal computers with
internet service for all job search needs.
Unemployment claim information and guidance is available on how to file a claim for benefits.
Numerous support services and information are provided that can assist
the job seeker with any challenges, including family or personal
problems, transportation, or child care. Our goal is to provide the
best job match possible by eliminating any barriers that may arise in
the work search endeavor.
